Williamsburg residents might want to bundle up tonight, as a overnight freeze is a possibility for the area.

The National Weather Service in Wakefield put out a frost advisory for Williamsburg, Isle of Wight, James City County, parts of Suffolk and Chesapeake. Meteorologists warn temperatures could drop in the low- to mid-30s starting early Tuesday morning at 2 a.m. through 8 a.m.

A light freeze will be possible in low lying, sheltered rural locations, and residents with outdoor plants may want to bring them inside or shelter them, if possible. Patchy frost will be possible, but the weather service is not warning of any risk for hazardous weather at this time.
