It’s kitten season at the Norfolk Animal Care Center, and the organization needs help caring for this year’s cuteness overload.
To get ready for all these tiny bundles of joy, the center is teaming up with Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center to host a Meower Shower — a baby shower for kittens — on Sunday at Afterglow Brewing, 2330 Bowdens Ferry Road, from 1-4 p.m.
This purr-fect, family-friendly party features more than 20 pet-friendly vendors, food, live music, raffles, games, face-painting and of course, kittens.
Attendees can also learn how to foster kittens or nursing moms of kittens.
The center is also accepting donations and shower presents, such as kitten formula, bottles, heating pads and more.
